"Beginning week three of Fitroom Express Circuits. I've done the gym thing and group exercise classes before, however sticking to a fitness routine has been a challenge for me. If I want to go to the gym I need to get there by 5:30 AM which is hard to maintain. I find with Fitroom being onsite, the flexible scheduling (really like the iPhone app) and the 15 minute time slots to work really well. I'll go to meetings in morning from 8 until 8:30 and then squeeze in a quick circuit at 8:40. I also appreciate the personal attention Peter and his staff provide. Looking forward to trying out some specialty classes next."

Let me start at the beginning. In September 2015, right after Labor Day weekend, I had hit my highest weight - 232.4!!! I said to myself - enough!!!! I had to get my weight under control. I started by trying to eat more healthy. That worked well, but I needed to add exercise. I then got a Fitbit and that changed my life. I made myself get 5,000 exercise steps and at least 10,000 steps total each day!!! It’s amazing how much walking can help you lose weight.
In January, my co-workers and I saw that a new business called “Fit Room” opened in our building. It was in a very small space, so we were not sure what it was all about. One of my friends stopped in and talked to Peter - the owner and trainer. He told her the concept: a quick 30 minute workout that incorporates cardio, weights, yoga and stretching into the workout. She told us about it and then her, myself, and another co-worker all went and spoke to Peter together.
He has such a great personality and really makes you want to make yourself better!!! He not only shows you what to do with the workout, but he talks to you about life and where you are and what is going on. The big thing with me was that I would blow my eating and work outs on weekends. Peter told me I could give myself one “cheat” day. Well, that sounded good in theory, but in reality it still didn’t work for me. So we went to one “cheat” meal. That did it for me!!! I was not sabotaging all the hard work I put in on the weekdays over the weekend!!
We signed up for 10 sessions (and got 1 session free). In those 10 sessions we all saw results. We signed up for another ten sessions (and got another one free)!! At the end of 22 sessions I was amazed at how good I looked. I was losing weight and toning as well. And it was all done in a quick 30 minutes a couple times a week!!
I am pleased to tell you that I am now down to 188.6 (43.8 pounds lost) and look and feel great. I have moved away from St. Pete, but I still go to a gym and work on what Peter showed me!! I do weights and yoga in the gym and get my cardio by walking outside (or on the treadmill now that the snow is falling). I have even started to incorporate a bit of jogging into my routine - something I never could have done at 232.4!!!!
I absolutely endorse Peter - he will make your work out fun and you WILL see results. He keeps you very motivated. He is so invested in his clients. I have been gone for 3 months, but I still report in to Peter on Friday mornings with my weight. And he is still super supportive and positive!!!
Spend the money on Peter’s training - you’re worth it and you WILL see results!!!
